Jennifer, an awesome photographer from Rotterdam, contacted me quite soon before her wedding to do the photography at her marriage to Richard. I always love it when creative people contact me for their wedding photography in the Netherlands, although I do feel a little pressure when its another photographer. .
Jennifer told me of all the plans they had made for the wedding: a garden wedding to be held at her dads house in Rotterdam with a festival vibe and lots of lovely moments and events throughout the garden. It sounded super cool and so I was really excited to see it. She had even set up the room for getting ready in a really special way and that also made for some lovely photos.
It turned out to be the hottest day of the year, 40 degrees indeed, which must have been tough for the couple and all the guests with their suits and dresses on. It didnt stop everyone having an amazing time on the day though.
I was really struck by the love that Jennifer and Richard had for each other. I must admit I may have had a little tear in my eye at some points during the ceremony. You can definitely see this amazing connection coming across in the photos. Take a look for yourself and let me know what you think.
