Two Nations Connected
James is from the UK and Jantine from the Netherlands. When I met them they both lived in Dubai but were planning on returning to London soon. This made it a good time for them to get married and bring all their friends and family to a central location, that just happened to be Amsterdam. I noticed immediately when I met them what an elegant couple they were. Jantine spoke about design during our meeting and definitely had a feel for details. You can really see this in the wedding photography, especially in the dress which is a simple minimal design.
On the wedding day I met them at the College Hotel in De Pijp in Amsterdam where they would stay the weekend and get ready for the big day. From there we went to the Scheepvaartmuseum where the ceremony took place. What an amazing venue and another tribute to the simple, elegant, design ideas from Jantine. Finally we returned to the College Hotel for the reception and dinner and my day was done.
